Burning AMV's to DVD Disk..Help!

Post by Kazutaka » Fri Dec 03, 2004 10:50 am

Ok, I have looked around and I did not see any topic or help on this subject so maybe SOME ONE out there knows how to do this!!!!

I have made several DVD coded AMV's. I just bought a DVD burner. Now I want to put my DVD AMV's onto a SINGLE DVD disk. I have no problem burning one AMV to a DVD but when I try to put a second or more AMV on to the DVD I get an error with the VOB/ISO files. I have a program that makes these files for my AMV but when I run it all the files are named the same and when I try to put them all onto one burning session it tells me that the files already exist and it will not copy them onto my burning software and I can only put one file (AMV) per disk.

If anyone out there puts their AMV's on DVD please help! I am amassing quite a collection of singe AMV/DVD's.... ahhhhhhh :x

I put my AMVs and other things on DVD all the time. I use DVD Movie Factory.

What program are you using? Is this the same program that made the DVDs?

What do you mean all these files are named the same? Do you have the original video source files on your computer? Are you using them to make the DVD? I just insert the different files into Movie Factory, build a menu, and burn.

the dvd authoring tool we use names them the same... so trying to put 5 vids on the same dvd... well you get the idea.... looks like we are heading towards nerovision express, or something to that effect to finalize these files and create the menu. fun stuff!!!!!! hehehe
and off we go, to something new...

Ok, if you mean the files on the DVD are .vob, as in 'VTS_01.vob', yeah those will all be the same on all DVDs. It's the DVD file standard. Do not use those as your source files. Use the .mpg or .avi file your editing program made and put those into the DVD authoring program. These applications should accept multiple files.

the problem is that the dvd authoring tool i use only does ONE file at a time... hence it names each one the same.... i am looking for suggestions for a software that eithor joins them together or does multiple files at once and names them accordingly
