Problem with adobe premiere;(((

Hi
I have big problem witch adobe premiere 6.5:(
Namely when I put the file video on the stripe timeline then nothing show, i.e. when I play the picture video is black and he haven't sound.When I normally play, also in Adobe but in the window then play without problem.To this when sometimes I imports video file, jump out error and adobe is close.Partially I cope
himself with this problem, When I converts something(video file) by VirtualDub then at times then helping, but not every this helping:( Files who wants I use it is in codec Xvid, I guess Adobe Premiere has problem with this codec, but I never have this problems:|.I used Xvid often. I Know I could use VirtualDub to commpresion to other codec(example.Divx)but in my case I don't have the time on long waiting until file end compression. some hour's:(
Mayby You know ,how I repair this problem:|???

When you convert in virtualdub convert to Huffyuv instead of xvid. It looks better and works in Premiere better. Or you could create an AVS script instead of converting in virtualdub but depending on what exactly you put into the avs script that can be very slow.

I create avs file and import to adobe premiere but still is black pictures:(
In file avs I use command:
AVISource("F:\Elfen Lied #1-13\Elfen Lied Ep01.avi")
BicubicResize(640,480)
Mayby command is wrong:|??
