Part of the reason why I only apply to Cons and not internet contests, is because it seems so... Wrong.Scintilla wrote:Castor Troy wrote:I don't really care about winning but I would like to be the best and win every con.Pyle wrote:I posted that in a bitching topic about overlays awhile ago.Pyle wrote:Hey dude, it may not matter to you, but I dream about being in Koop and AD's position. I do this because I want people to share in what I made (otherwise no one would be on the org). And sure, theres prizes in cons (most notably the reason annoucment of Otakucons 47in Moniter) but lets be honest. If we wanted money, we could all find better ways to get it.
1. Prostituting ourselfs
2. getting a job
3. Finding a hobby that wont get us sued if we distribute the rights to said material
Lets be honest, there is no fame on the org, and if there is, it's subjectionable fame much like. We woreship AD why? Because he's a great editor? Or because he's a cool guy?
I don't make amvs to become "famous" if I wanted to do that, i'd MAKE the anime. No, I make amvs because I'm a bored whiny ass teenager whom feels like he can at the very least, get a bit of frustration off without having to resort to the Three M's (if you don't know already, you don't need to know).

Your reaction is the most pricless thing I have ever seen.Scintilla wrote:Castor Troy wrote:I don't really care about winning but I would like to be the best and win every con.Pyle wrote:I posted that in a bitching topic about overlays awhile ago.Pyle wrote:Hey dude, it may not matter to you, but I dream about being in Koop and AD's position. Hey, it's not my fault that people don't seem to be able to make the distinction.Castor Troy wrote:Your reaction is the most pricless thing I have ever seen.Scintilla wrote:Castor Troy wrote:I don't really care about winning but I would like to be the best and win every con.Pyle wrote:I posted that in a bitching topic about overlays awhile ago.Pyle wrote:Hey dude, it may not matter to you, but I dream about being in Koop and AD's position. ... that, or they are merely ignoring it because they don't seem to believe that people notorious for having certain attitudes on this matter can change them. I can't tell which.

I'll have you know, this next vid I'm coming up with, you know, the one I talk about in every post that isn't even halfway done, I'm sure that it will get me a mountain of prizes.
Ever have that one super-uber vid that you just can't get finished? That's what this is. Man I've gone so off-topic now
