Wasn't Eikoden created by someone else? I didn't think Yu Watase wrote that storyline. I could be wrong though.

I don't think any of the "Den" stories were written by Watase herself, and I have no idea about the stories of the 1st or 2nd OAV series (I've never seen them).

I think the first and second are supposed to be based on the last six volumes of the manga, but as I've not read those yet, we shall see.

I've been thinking about buying these new cheaper FY discs. The boxes with all their extras would be nicer, but 2 x $200 is a bit too much. ^^;

/experienced awesome luck in buying all three boxes at once where vendor gave me 20% off (no tax was applied either)
