VirtualDubMod Help!

First off, I'm really sorry if this is a stupid question or it has already been posted- but I am DESPERATE!

What on earth can I do so that it my .ogm file is compressed into an .avi? Every single time I try it, it stops about 4 mins in and says: "Error. Cannot seek within file 'kare kano 2.avi': The parameter is incorrect."

Please help me!

Take the .OGM file, select the clip you need, make sure "Direct stream copy" is selected under the Video menu, save as an AVI, and see if it works then.
