Escaflowne boxed set

I bought the Escaflowne perfect collection boxed set off ebay and it looks bootleg to me, if anyone else bought it and could describe what their's looks like to me that would be great, thanks.

Doesn't look like the one I purchased a month ago...

If it's 8 discs, it's legitimate.

If it's 2-3 discs, it's a bootleg.

And in case you didn't check (which you should have), there's a sticky at the top of this forum for bootleg identification.

I thought the Perfect Collection (the one Bandai recently brought out in the ThinPaks) had 9 discs -- eight for the TV series, and one for the motion picture.

You, sir, are correct. And I have to say, that's a pretty damn good deal; for a $100 you get the whole series and the movie.

That is too obviosly a bootleg. They guy (forgot name, havent seen escaflone for a while) looks like a teenage version of Mr. Burns with a white doona for wings and Hitori looks like she came out of some sunday newspaper comic strip.

I got the 9 disc box set at Best Buy for $50 something....which is a pretty good deal all things considered...
