cartoon network, i hate it!

im trying to show off my new anime and all my friends say "oh, thats on cartoon network!" thay show it at night when thay now i have work the next day! cartoon network!!!! dang you and your anime showing ways!!!!
i feel better now..... :D

They run a fine line of trying to keep some fans appeased while not angering parents. Yes, a lot of parents consider animation only for children and some of the anime and Adult Swim fare is not for kids. Now we all know that this is not the case, but Cartoon Network has already taken flack for it. The warning signs you see during the commercials were added due to a big to do about this.

Yes it is a pain the hours they show it at, but better that than nothing. :wink:

a few of the shows, like hack/dusk, are sooooo poorly done that `your not
missing anything anyway!

if u dont like cartoon network i found out from this one ad in a manga that you can buy this one channel called anime network and it plays anime all day!!

cartoon network has done some good things though. if it wasn't for them i'd never have known of half the series i enjoy this day. it just sucks for me cause Direct TV doesnt have the anime network yet :evil:

to give more credit to CN: if it weren't for them there wouldn't have been a Big O II, and most of ya wouldn't have heard of FLCL

Am I the only one who thinks "screw tv stations, i watch all my anime of dvd. The way its ment to be seen." ?

not to be all mean, but only OVA's are meant to be seen on dvd.
i'm sure some companies -cough cough- 4Kids, Bandai -cough cough- liscence certain titles to they can be shown on American TV, and besides, most anime was meant to be seen on Japanese TV or Japanese theaters.
