My post didn't need to have "more depth," it accomplished it's task of getting my point across quite nicely as it was. Not every post has to be a doctoral thesis.Ixidor, reality sculptor wrote:one word, (thats actually the abbreviation for three).... WTF? im trying to say, that the person thought that metallica was the greatest rock band, and im telling him/her that its just a personal opinion, and you have to go all ron jeremy on me, in other words, you were a big cock. im trying to say that your post lacked depth, and cant be described by a few simple "Hahahah's" but by using more words rather than noises.

Oh god, another Metallica debate.
I'll put it simply: Metallica rocked. Past tense. Whether you like them or not. They had amazing talent, but they've lost writing skills. They can still play guitar well, but can't write for shit. If you want good heavy metal in the old Metallica vein, listen to Megadeth. Unfortunately there won't be much more Megadeth.

I have a copy of S&M on vinyl. I just thought it was an excellent concept and how can you really go wrong with a symphony orchestra?NicholasDWolfwood wrote:S&M was their best album since Justice, only because it was a lot of good with a symphony and hell, even Memory Remains, which sucks pretty badly, sounded halfway decent.

Umbrellacompany...enjoy your time here.
Don't worry, you will get used to this.
As for the best band ever thing?... I personally think that is a throne reserved for either Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd. *shrug* But to each his own...

My point. Speaking of symphonys, I need to get KISS's symphony album, and IMO Maiden or Megadeth should do a concert with a symphony. I'd love to see Peace Sells or Blackmail the Universe with a symphony.dokool wrote:I have a copy of S&M on vinyl. I have Alive IV, with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. It's great.Speaking of symphonys, I need to get KISS's symphony album
I personally think Detroit Rock City is much better live.

I have only one things to say to this thread.
MY LIFESTYLE
DETERMINES MY DEATHSTYLE
Okay, I have more. I don't absolutely hate Metallica's latest stuff but I'm not nearly as picky as a lot of people. I think Unforgiven II is a GREAT song. And The Unnamed Feeling. And Master of Puppets. And Sanitarium(Welcome Home). And Enter Sandman........
