These are some images from a new Korean animation called Sky Blue. They look impressive. :P According to the reviews on this site http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/sky_blue/ it is reviewed as magnificently animated (blending multiple animation techniques "An ambitious mix of 2-D and 3-D animation, miniatures and live action...". Miniatures!!!! 8-) ) but with a mediocre story line. Seems US release is very limited (just L.A. ?). Has anyone here seen this thing? If it is good, is there DVD available yet?

I have been waiting for Korea to come out with its own quality animation, being that it has been an animation powerhouse (mostly outsourced from US/Japan so far). An emergence of another animation superpower should make things more interesting! So, um, anyone here know what are the best Korean animations so far (movie/TV/independent/anything)? :?:

And, let us make this controversial: should we classify this as anime?

Er, is this the movie formerly known as Wonderful Days? Because I've seen that. And it was really good, and I'd definitely class it as anime (as much as most manhwa gets classed in with manga), and I didn't think the story was that bad.

The characters look really familiar. I think it is Wonderful Days.

Last minute edit: it is.
