Ever go , what the heck was I thinking

Post by OtakuForLife » Wed Jan 05, 2005 1:36 am

I was diging through my old videos picking which ones
where going to make the cut to vcd. When I noticed tons
of mistakes in my previous videos, that I didn't even
no existed. Anyone else have this problem when looking
on there past videos? Heck I can't even watch my really
old ones,(when I strill was Aida Works) the editings to horriable
to sit through.

I think that with the first X-23, which weighed in at just over an hour. I watch it now after a college education and almost seven years' worth of professional editing and I just wince. I could easily chop off half of its running time and make it a much faster-paced production.

Yup. Had that epiphany just last week.

It might mean that you're getting better.

Or not.

A couple times and yet we still released them. We did with Dirty Inu Yasha (not what you think), and that was a funny idea but couldn't make it work and it looked messed up. Then we did Dragon Ball X. And well that was descent but I think it made peoples head scratch. I know when I watch it I'm like what were we thinking. Editing fails you eventhough you have an idea sometimes. So we went on a 2 month drought until Zoom Zoom when things picked back up.

Definately...even though i am not as good as i want to be yet, i can certainly look back and see older stuff i did, and some of it makes me say UGH! But i guess everyone is at the begining, and at least you can look at your own stuff objectively enough to see room for improvement...

Yeah, I pretty much get that nauseous feeling when I go back and look at the videos I have made in the past, uh.... EVER. But then I pretty much get drunk and forget about it. Maybe one of these day's I'll do a decent video, maybe even another serious one. But only after
