VCA 2005 Begins
Hey All,
Well it’s that time of year again: it’s time for the annual Viewers Choice Awards! The rules have been posted for review and the category suggestions have started. Please also check for your preliminary video qualifications.
PLEASE NOTE (and I cannot emphasize this enough): All members who have entered videos into the catalog during 2004 have had their “all my videos are in the catalog” indication reset to “no”. If you do not enter all of your videos no matter which year they were created and reset the indicator back to “yes”, you will be disqualified from this year’s VCA.
One of the major changes to this year’s VCA is that there will be three rounds of voting (nominations, semi-finals, and final vote) instead of the traditional two (nominations and final vote). The reason for this is that there are more than 27,000 potentially qualifying videos for this year’s competition. By adding the extra round of voting, all members can (hopefully) increase their awareness of good AMVs for this year and choose from a better pool of candidates for the final round of voting.
The VCA Shameless Promotions forum is now in full swing. Please let people know of videos that you think are worthy of nomination that may be out of the current lime light. The nominations round is always the most important round of voting and people need to be aware of vids that may be less well known than they should be.
As always, this is all for fun, so please lets keep it that way. I’m sure debate will occur, but please keep the level of intensity to a sane amount.
Good luck and have fun!! ^_^

Only videos listed in the AnimeMusicVideos.org video catalog that have a premiere date on or after January 1, 2004 and on or before December 31, 2004 will be eligible for consideration. Videos that premiere before January 1, 2004 or after December 31, 2004 are not eligible for this year's awards.

Yeah, how do I change:
No indication for all videos in catalog
Has videos with only non-anime footage
No indication for all videos in catalog? Nani? =O_O=
Has videos with only non-anime footage? Yeah I do but it's not listed for Qualified Videos so how do I change it?!?!
