New AMG possibly in the works

It would probably only be one episode, but I would love to see Childhood's End animated.

Queen Sayako would be amusing,too.

The parental visitation arc was cool, and the Fifth Goddess arc was fun.

Instead of creating a new topic, I decided to revive this one.

The promo for the tv series has aired. The first episode is scheduled to air today at 1:55 am in Japan. It looks like they started it from the beginning contrary to a previous report that it would take place after the OAV. The animation is simply beautiful. There isn't much word on how long the series will last, but as a die hard fan of the manga Im looking foward to a long run.

Great, I'll have to start following this now, also.

I certainly hope they can do the entire length. Anything new out of this franchise is a blessing though.

I'm not surprised they're starting from the beginning again, given that the OVAs are nearly fifteen years old now. That said, I've seen the promo as well, and it does look gorgeous. I'm curious as to what they'll be using for OP/ED themes, since the original OVA opening was the first anime theme song I heard in Japanese.

Is there any word on how long the series will be?

Finally some good news in the anime world.
Well, at least for me.

Just love AMG and the manga is great.
