Well...I make no guarantees of definite joining yet...I've got an idea and I might be able to get the footage...right now it's just a matter of figuring out exactly what scenes I need to employ (because I'm not gonna make full rips of both movies)

How much live action footage is required: 20% - 50% - 100% ?

I have this vision (nightmare?) of people using AMV styles and techniques on live action footage - piano keys containing the Star Trek crew, bouncing Frodo cutouts, len flares out of Gandalf's eyes...etc.

well if you win with that creation i will have to make arrangements for proper medication to be a prize too :) if you must use a clip of anime or something pls try and keep it very limited , but you can mix as many movies as you want together like my video "trailer park" i used around 30 movies in that video . SO go nuts

Damnit. Now I wish I had the source for this. I can easily imagine a great video of two nerds doing the classical 'which series was better? Trek, star wars, or LOTR?' that ends up with a final battle between the 3 which Gandalf wins with his eyebeams of doom. And here I am with only one of the series on DVD. Shit.

awesome ideas so far people , keep that shit up. Kill bill sounds like a good live action vid. I think i even read someone using " a christmas story" NOW thats gonna be a sight!
