I used to like a ton of anime, but don't have a clue about thier names, here are the descriptions

1) a movie. In it the world has flooded over and people are on edge with a new race of like human/animal hybrids. It all has some thing to do with this old man and

when he dies, the polar caps move

2) It's about this cyborg(?) and her brother(who is a panther scince some accident), whan the woman is acting normal, she pretends to be a man, and eventually this one guy figures it out.

1) Blue Submarine No. 6, I think. It's currently a four-part OVA but I think it either was once available edited together as a movie, or is currently marketed as a movie a la Kite or Love Hina Again.

No clue on the other one, sorry. ^^;

THGe first one sounds familer and I know the name but it is on the tip of my tounge, I will post if I remember, but the second one is Cyber 6, which is a great show but kinda short, also with hte first one are there mecha in it at all because the one I am thinking of has Mecha, but sounds extremely similar
