Demons and Wizards II ... at least, it's SUPPOSED to be out this year. Hopefully, the new Elvenking CD will be finished in time for a 2005 release. Other than that, there's not a lot of bands out there that I'm aware of that are going to be releasing new albums.
Ploink! Magic Cupcake! Elvenking. I'm sorry, I can't hear you over how awesome I am.

FINALLY we get the long-promised Adrian Belew solo album(s), one of the CD's of which will feature the Belew/Claypool/Carey trio (which is one of those 'dream groups come true' things...)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

A week and a half brings new Chemical Brothers and M83, the first releases of the year that I've actually been excited to check out. The Perceptionists and Sage Francis have albums coming out sometime over the next two months (having a hard time finding exact release dates for these), which are must-haves for any serious hip-hop fan.
The only big name bands I can think of who have albums that are either definitely or probably coming out this year are Coldplay, Oasis and Outkast, all either in late spring or early summer, most likely. Here's also hoping the new Daft Punk is good. Can we really expect them to top themselves again?
Rumors of a Linkin Park album out in autumn continue to persist. And just when we thought we'd seen our last Linkin Park/Dragonball AMV... not to hate though, it could be really good.
I'm sure there's moe but it'll sort itself out soon.
