Bogus (yet funny) Anime facts
A thread for funny and/or stupid "facts" about anime and otaku-like things.
yea these stink out loud, but i'm really bored and my mind is wandering like a runaway.
Tuxedo Mask, despite how many times he's tried, has never hit Sailor Moon with that rose.
Edward Elric from FullMetal Alchemist stores quarters in his fake arm.
despite it's appearence, FLCL and Magical Shopping Arcade Abenoshi both have, a plot.
Captain Jack is legally the property of Benami.
Every DBZ enemy ever made was named after either an appliance, or a nursery rhyme.
Hige from Wolf's Rain doesn't have any hair. they just tooke Spike's wig and dyed it red.
There are more penises shown in hentai than in yaoi.
The real reason Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was a flap is fairly simple; no chocobos.

Saying that isn't true will get me mad at you really quick, even though I do admit you have to pay attention to it

Not the, Vegeta started out as a bad guy, and he's named after food. A lot of DBZ characters are named after food. So much so that I think it counts as a nutritional education prgram in Japan. Which I think is a much better way to teach kids about a healthy diet.Bulghod wrote:Every DBZ enemy ever made was named after either an appliance, or a nursery rhyme.

The average episode of Super Milk Chan costs about $4000 in American currency. $3991 is spent on pot.
I dig giant robots
The reason Gendo from Eva folds his hands in front of his face is so nobody sees him picking his nose.
You dig giant robots
Originally Pocky was going to be a brand of cigarrettes. but instead of the tobacco they got breadsticks and decided to make due.
In some colleges, Engrish is being taught along with Latin and Gaelic as dead languages.
Chicks dig giant robots
You wanna know what keeps Vash the Stampede's hair up? watch There's Something About Mary
The Nameks from DBZ are really smurfs on steroids.

that would make sense since pocky is just as addicting as cigarrettes.Bulghod wrote:Originally Pocky was going to be a brand of cigarrettes. but instead of the tobacco they got breadsticks and decided to make due.
