Premiere project settings...

Post by FireCrossedAngel » Fri Jan 14, 2005 8:00 pm

Is there a way to edit Adobe Premiere Pro's project settings after you already made the new project file primarily?

particularly the frame size...since I just re-ripped all of my Final Fantasy videos and changed the resolution (from 320x224 to 500x271) and i have an unfinished amv that i am working on but Premiere is not letting me change the settings and thats really pissing me off

i mean i know that in After Effects you can easily access the composition settings and change it within seconds lol but Premiere is really making this a pain in the @ss X_X

I believe the answer is no, Pro doesn't let you do that.

If anything, you could try resizing after you're done, but I believe you're stuck with them in the project as is.

I may be wrong, but that is what I've been told.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

You can try creating a new project with the desired resolution and importing the old project into the new one.

Just yesterday I had to change the resolution of my AVS files slightly in mid-project and everything went smoothly. Inevitable conclusion: Premiere 6.5 pwns Pro. :P

you can really do that in premiere 6.5?? well thats really not fair lol...

i guess the adobe people got really cheap to add it in 1.5 pro...hmph

and yeah Scintilla that was what i had on my mind too but i added lots of effects into this project and if was to change the resolution it would mean that i would have to change some of these effects too and when you import everything into another project file of premiere you cant edit the sequence...which really sucks.
