After Effects is expanding the clip in the timeline?! X_X

Post by FireCrossedAngel » Mon Jan 24, 2005 7:05 pm

So...since the Final Fantasy VIII ending movies have that stupid border on top of them I needed to rip them off at a higher resolution then resized and saved them in Afer Effects (655x355 to 500x271)

Only problem is...now every time I import those files into AE it expands them to the same width it was before I resaved it with these settings. Which is very weird. As you can see what it says on that file's original settings its 500x271--the way it should be--but when you place it onto the timeline its 655 pixels in width. AND when I preview the movie in windows media player or anything like that its normal too but on the timeline...well its not -_-

Does anyone know why?

try right click on the file and telling it to reload the footage

oh and set your pixel aspect ratio to non-square 1.31:1(whatever is under the window since you have it cut off)

if that doesn't work send me a shout through AIM
