Box Office Mojo is now reporting a June 10, 2005 release date for Howl's Moving Castle.

We are trying to confirm this date with Disney and stress that it should be considered preliminary at best.

Thanks to Heather Ward for the heads up.
for those of you unaware of what this anime, its the latest release of studio ghibli from director Hayao Miyazaki.

I'll be happy if they release it at a theater within a hundred miles from me (not holding my breath).

it looks like a fair anime, the story looks like it could be pretty interesting but what appears to be the main chara i'm not really crazy about. Also they used fair art, not the best

The art is fantastic on the big screen, especially what they do with the Castle. I just hope I'll be able to see it on the first Friday - that would make it twice I'd have seen Howl on opening night...

Same here. I was rather disappointed when Appleseed wasn't released here in Denver.

Living in Korea's got its perks...I've seen it four times in the theater so far. Can't wait for the DVD so I can make an AMV for it. 8-)
