I really enjoyed the Dragonball manga (1-14 especially), I don't kow what the hell happened with the show. I guessed they stringed it out as long as possible to make more money. A lot of you guys are talking about shows I don't know about so I'll stay away from that

but I believe any show that tries to make cash off products other than the show/book itself should have never existed. Yu-gi-oh started out as a semi-decent manga but when the card game came out it just got out of hand. Pokémon was a cash cow from the start. Anyway, that's my two cents.

Sorry for the double post, but the planes looked pretty cool in that Big Wars video, but WTF is up with the face falling off and the red skeleton eating the planet thing? Yeah, gonna stay away from that one....

The world could easily do without any of the crap they show on television here in the US. Thats right, every episode of DB,DBZ,DB-GT, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, F.M.A., Cowboy Bebop, Big-O, and every retnal gouging episode of Gundam. All these shows that has been dubbed into nothing but mind-numbing wastes of television air space should be dropped into a fiery pit of electrified lava spikes to never be harnessed from the depths which they belong.

dubbing isn't a good reason to get rid of an anime.
if you don't like dubs, go rant on another thread. sorry, but i thought this thread had to do with the anime itself, not sub vs dub.
and, this may be going off topic again, but if you're going to trash certain dubs, then do ones that have actually changed the course of the episode, like when Fox did Escaflowne or Kids WB! did Cardcaptor Sakura, or even Battle of the Planets. at least those were obvious changes. nut just a dub job you don't like.

I guess I put too much emphasis on how these particular animes I mentioned are dubbed when really my point was that they just plain suck and should have never existed. Happy?
