Adult Swim vs. Anime Unleased

hey im new. i wanted to say adult swim has better anime than anime unleashed

the thing is is that they focus on boggie pop phantom and other this weird scifi anime

So in other words, you prefer AS to AU becuase you don't like that much sci-fi in your anime diet? Or you prefer AU but don't like all the sci-fi-ness?
Clarification, would be nice.

Personally, I prefer AS. But that's just becuase my current sattelite package doens't include TechTv.

i would say both because they are both mostly about anime.

Anime unleashed is kinda boring. It also gets way too many crap animes. Adult Swim gets the good stuff like Full Metal, Cowboy B, Ghost in the Shell, and the soon coming Samurai Champloo. Those 4 shows alone are better than most of the stuff I've seen on Unleashed but sometimes they get random good stuff "like Last Exile."

I'd have to say Adult Swim, but Anime Unleashed is good, becuase it plays animes that not too many people know about. Some of them (*cough* Gene Shaft *cough*) have really bad English dubbing. Plus, Adult Swim has a more interactive[/i] and have fun attitude.

I currently prefer Anime Unleashed cause they burn through a series pretty rapidly, usually 2 episodes during each/most weekday. Though it blows in that respect when they've gone through half a season and make you wait a while for more till the rest of the series has been localized.

Adult Swim used to be pretty reliable, but now their top shows are only on Sat... and those are typically things I've already seen, or have already sampled and am only interesting in watching casually.

I can't think of anything else currently, but these are what I watched several episodes of:

AS: Inu Yasha, Full Metal Alchemist, Big O, FLCL

AU: Crest/Banner of the Stars, ROD TV, Gad Guard, Gungrave, Last Exile, Geneshaft, Silent Mobius

*bold refers to what I enjoyed and eventually intend to purchase, or already have based on seeing them first on TV.

*red refers to what I watched, enjoyed for free, but lost track of.

*regular text means I didn't care much for it.

I really need to start watching GitS: Stand Alone Complex...

ughhh....both Anime Unleashed and good-ol Adult Swim suck. Both continuously show really bad anime that has been dubbed to the bone. And whoever said Adult Swim has "the good stuff" wow, I hope ur not talking about the same adult swim i'm thinking of.
