Ah damn, I forgot to add this. Ghost in the Shell: SAC - episode 10.

I congratulate Adult Swim for having the courage to showing that one.

Don't worry. that episode is a stand-alone episode; it has no affect to the overall upcoming arc of the series that is building up. Seriously, it's a really good series.

I only saw a small part of GitS:SAC when I was in Cuba and they had CN. It was the episode where all these people get into a cyber-space round table and talk about the "laughing man". I didn't understand a thing but after watching for ten minutes I knew it was GitS since the whole thing moved so slow and a bunch of cyber jargon was being thrown around. Good stuff :P

that was deffinately a very f-cked up episode. Everytime i watch it i start to think about what it would feel like or look like in real life and it just makes me sick.

i think we should start rating these scenes on a 1-10 scale.
1 being why did you even post that and 10 TOTALLY FUCKED UP TO THE MAX

10 - GITS:SAC episode 10
10 - Last episode of Berserk the anime
8 - End of Evangelion when they play Komm Susser Todd
7 - CB when Spike dies
7 - Samurai X when Kenshin kills Tomoe
6 - Grave of The Fire Flies

**Remember i just decided to do this. Nobody else has to if they don't want to. I just thought it would be fun to see how f-cked up people think the scenes they and other poeple have posted are. It is just to add a little fun to it.**

sorry i can't give a rating to the Elfen Lied one angelx03, but i havn't seen that series....but from what it sounds like, it seems like a pretty crazy series that i am going to have to check out.

*Spoilers, You have been warned. Don't get mad at me if you don't turn back now.*

For me, I just never get over the killing of Anime characters I have grown attached to. Topping the list are.

Kenshin Himura
Spike Spiegel
Nicholas D Wolfwood (Trigun) (I cried after this one)
Major Hughes (FMA)
Chouji (Naruto)
Schwartz Bruder/ Kiyoji Kashu and Master Asia (G Gundam)

People, if you're going to give out spoilers, AT LEAST use spoiler tags according to this thread. It's just common courtesy.

Sorry to burst your bubble there but Chouji's not dead. As they havn't gotten to that part in the anime, refer to pg9 of Manga chapter 236 (and a few others afterwards) He and Neji are badly hurt but not killed.

I've watched eva, I've watched perfect blue and Elfen lied, I love that series, along with berserk, and the part of kenshin, where tomoe was killed, as well as all of Cowboy Bebop, and I have found none of these to be disturbing. I was wondering if someone could explain their reasoning as to why these are disturbing. I'm not trying to insult you if you find these grotesque or depressing, and I'm sorry if it sounds that way, but I don't get it. Maybe I'm not emotionally involved in the series enough?
