I'm happy cause it's my birthday! Woo hoo!

And sorry if my post was angry sounding, I just though it'd be funny to keep my same post going throughout these threads. No, they aren't the exact same, but my answer from the "what was your first anime" pretty much sums up this answer too.

Well... let's answer the question...

A friend of mine said i should watch anime cuz she thought it's cool... so i watched DBZ and Sailor Moon (not gonna short that one :P) and i liked it...

so i started going to sites about anime... One of them about Sailor Mercury, wich i had somewhat of a crush on... So I asked her MSN, and now we're going steady for 2 years and 3 1/2 month...

This annoying kid in 8th grade who was obsessed with Sailor Moon, the Pokemon craze, when sci-fi did the anime late night stuff, and my childhood curiosity. Think satan and old mayonaise is in there somewhere.

What started me

Post by Wooho0 » Fri Feb 04, 2005 9:55 pm

I got started with when KTEH (a TV channel) used to do Sunday Science Fiction Night, and they had anime on at around 10. First ones I saw (besides the usual cartoons that I didn't know were anime) were Tenchi Muyo and Robotech.
There's just something about watching Tenchi Muyo completely un-cut when you are 10 years old that makes you remember it forever...
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you down with years of experience.

thanks for ansering yall and if yall wondered i did search the forum and desired to ask this specific question as , in my example i had seen dbz and sailor moon and card captor sakura plus some others but it seemed to be the themes and the unique ways the are explored in anime that got me which, i dout i could have of gotten out of the anime i had been exposed to eairlier, so
i wasnt so concerned with what "anime" but "what" (and you may have to think about it ) granted yall with the passion anime fans tend to have.

oh and i will admit i dont always watch anime for deep thought provoking things sometimes watching ninjas, robots and realy qute chicks plus super cool guys is just what i need !

long time ago at the beginning of college one of my friends says, hey come watch this. You'll like it. I asked 'what is it?' He goes, it's called ranma 1/2, now watch, you'll like.

I'll admit I started with DBZ but I thought most of the artwork sucked. I watched the movies and loved them.
