Help!

Umm... I'm just getting into anime music vidoes and I just download Video impression 1.6 since it was free I'm cheap. But umm... I have a few questions... I can't open wmv.'s on it and I wanted to know why. I also wanted to know if you have any tips for people who are just getting started.

I don't know a thing about Video Impression, but in general, .WMVs do not make good source clips for editing.

I suggest either:
1) using a converter like <a href="http://www.eo-video.com">EO Video</a> to convert the clips you need to HuffYUV AVI
or:
2) using AVISynth's <b>DirectShowSource()</b> to serve the files (this method might not work very well, but if it does, it'll save you a bunch of hard drive space)

Why are you using .WMVs in the first place?

Because it's the only thing my computer can download off of bearshare easily
