How did I get into Anime?....
Long ago in a far away land, voices in my head lead me to a ancient abandoned cave in Hartz Mountains.... There I discovered the remains of an ancient subterrainian civilization that had great powers of alchemy and science. They had great machines that did the hard tasks to keep their society going and used beads of a mineral called Oricalcum to power these devices....These beads glowed like fire and they dispensed them as if they were coinage... Fleeing from a secret society that called themeselves "The Grail", a group that wanted the secret location of the cave, I hid in a small cafe in a hotel in Marakesh. There while keeping a low profile I watched a "Space Cruiser Yamato" marathon on the local TV station with a Argentinian woman.
The show got me hooked. And I have been into anime ever since.

see now the first anime i saw and the anime that got me into anime r two completely diferent things. what got me INTO anime was gundam wing and its awesome plot/human drama/amazeing mecha and battle scenes/atantion to detail as far as art work goes (given the time in which it was created). now i look at it in the boxed set and go "wow, hard to beleive its been 10 years sicne it was made, the production values suck compared to the new gundam seed, but such is the way of time, technology and the advancement of the human race"
"Exit light. Enter night. Take my hand. Off to never-never land."
