It's quite amusing to think what they will do for the dubs. *chuckle

The DVD prices are making me wince, but I can't say its a total surprise.
I'm hoping for a Beck OST, as that would be an awesome collection of music to get in one bunch.

please tell me how it is so I can buy the DVDs coming out for it. Thanks.

It was a joke. about Beck Hansen. the recording artist/musician/whatever. not the anime. those were his albums.

(It would have helped to have read the album titles you mentioned to notice the obivous. >.>)

Yeah, but I fear that it would be completely lost on most American audiences. I mean, most of the time only a native speaker can really distinguish between different dialects and accents--I mean, heck, Ryusuke and Maho's speech probably sounds like incredibly fluent English to a native Japanese audience. The ironic humor would go way over everyone's heads.

If we want some sort of humorous translation---let's change the song Engrish into ebonics! Fo' shizzle, yo!
