Full Metal Alchemist

I watched a very sad episode, it was where this guy turned his own daughter and his dog, into a terrible beast and i thought that the sad part was when she (the beast) said "u promised u were gonna play with me".

You should. It's a very good series.

If I remember correctly, you're referring to episode 6 or 7 (possibly a bit earlier), where Shou Tucker turns his daughter Nina and her dog into a chimera.

FMA is consitently pretty strong that way. The show always takes you to a point where you're thinking: "this can't get worse" and it always does, yet it still manages to remain fun and entertaining.

That was one of the most messed up things I've seen in anime in a long time.. I'd say it ties with the Ayato/Asahina stuff in Rahxephon.

That was so depressing! I thought it was really sad when she asked something like, "Big brother, why does it hurt so much?" I know I don't have it right, but it was so sad! I also thought it was so sad how the only thing the previous chimera said was, "I want to die." Plus the girl chimera's voice was just creepy.

I agree it was a sad moment in the series, but without that part I don't think the series would have been the same!

It was definnitely a defining moment. Poor Ed looses a little more innocence.

I think the end of that storyline is the saddest scene. That is the definig momment that makes it ALL sadder.
