The MTAC (Middle Tennessee Anime Convention) AMV contest is now open! Deadline of March 12th!

But it says no rules as for massive amounts of unnecessary nudity or sodomy in the vids. Will HMVs and YMVs be allowed? What vids containing graphic scenes of defecation? And what about women with phallic appendages? These must be noted, I don't want to enter a video that will get disqualified..... well.... Not without knowing so before hand. And what are the award classes? Is there a sickening/disturbing content section? That would be bad ass!

yeah...any yaoi, tentacles, scatplay, anything I would see on Stile or goats...those are right out...showing a bit of nudity, however, I have no problem with...but, unfortunately, this contest is publicly shown, and we are in the Bible Belt, so it wouldn't be shown during the normal contest...we would, however, show it later...and if it's liked well enough by us, yes, we will create a special award for it.

But...what we really need are entries for the regular contest. A lot of people had problems with having to mail entries in last year, so we decided to get with the program and set up an ftp server...okay, so my roommate decided to set aside space on the server we already had in our basement for the con, but still, it remains a valid ftp server...I even checked it from work just to be sure.!

But space is limited, so I'm not just posting the ftp info for everyone to see...I have no problem giving it out if you actually plan on entering, though...just send me an email and I'll give you the URL and the login info.

Cool! Always good to have repeat winners! Hopefully if you guys win awards this year we can be a little more timely on getting the awards to you! I've smacked around our promo guy and we're going to have them done MUCH sooner...as in, before con is over this time. And I will actually be there on Sunday, whereas last year I was unable to be there, so I can take a little more personal control this time.
