And yet there is this information (along with other sources repeating the same info) that would suggest that the show has been sublicensed already, at least for broadcast.

This makes sense, given the profile of the property in question, even though no home video distributor has been announced yet. CN has probably just got the broadcast rights for certain areas from ShoPro, and somebody else, likely Viz, is going to come up with home-video distribution.

Any way you look at it, ShoPro is starting to do their job as a primary licensor -- or more accurately, evidence is coming out of their acting in this capacity -- and the rights for various portions of the Naruto property as regards the Americas are in play in a way that doesn't involve trans-Pacific conference calls. A home-video licensing announcement is probably also coming in the near future.

As for Bobobo-bo Bo-Bobo, who the hell knows? ADV? Maybe this is another, similar, case of "bought directly from ShoPro" -- Naruto and ZatchBell/Konjiki no Gatch Bell are also in this announcement in that class.

I know that they're in a rush to get all this out. But personally I wish they would spend their time to get this anime done right. They should spend their time and put the effort into finding appropriate VA's for the characters. Also hopefully they want pull the same shit that the VIZ does with the techniques in the manga. Oh well I won't even bother with the english version anyways.

Wow. I have to say I'm surprised, pleasentley so, everyone's taking it so well. All over the net I'm reading replies like "this is the end" and "we all feared this day would come."

Anyway, I'm just glad it may air in canada. As for voices? I kinda like Brad Swalie (Mousse) for Lee and I think a less raspy version of Bobby Hill's voice could fit Naruto.

There super fanboys that don't want to stop getting the torrents, and not support the creators. I'm not one of them and I need a break from Naruto anyways.. Just can't wait till it comes out.

CN is evil. They won't show it uncut on Adult swim and I seriously doubt that they will show it on both of them. There are two main reasons I hate watching anime on CN. They cut, edit, censon, put that all under one reason, and they take forever to show a whole series. I watched Bebop on CN and it took me a year to watch the whole thing.

For me it is easier to by the animes, they aren't cut, edited or censored, plus you can acctually finish the anime instead of rewatching the same episodes over and over again. Plus no comericals. And the main reason I really dislike CN is that I stopped watching Yu Yu because of them. The way they were showing it I just couldn't deal with it.

Not to insult yo, but it would seem like a true fan of the series would want the series in there dvd liberary.

And just because I buy my anime does not mean I am rich. It jst means I have a min wage job and nothing better to spend my money on. And even if I did I would still only buy my anime.

Meh, even when I was poor, I'd try to go out and spend what I have on anime and music.

a true fan of the series would want the series in there dvd liberary.

As I mentioned before about supporting the creators, thats what I would like fans to do, instead of just trying to download them all. Plus if they have any interest in AMVing, they should concider getting DVD source footage, instead of damn fansubs. I'm personaly getting sick of seeing almost nothing but low quality Naruto AMV's. That's why I love Mckeed's AMV's !!!!

I think you slightly misunderstood. Yes dling footage is bad, since the quality is crap and the subing is awful. But what I was talking about was when it comes over to america. Instead of watching it on CN I would rather buy the dvds. That's what I said a true fan would do. That's why I buy all my anime.

You realize that mckeed uses raw Naruto downloads that are massively cleaned up by using AVS-scripting, right? Well, now you do!

Yes I knew that. Giving praise to him all the time leaded me into finding that answer.. Still my point is still pointed to fansubs. Generally they don't make the quality that raws have. And also I was just trying to point out that I'm sick of LQ Naruto vids.
