Buy them? nah
I'll download them with the help of my trusty 56k . Its going to take a bunch of time but, if i already downloaded the first 115 episodes, i can finish downloading the whole series.
I know it wont be all that bad, since it will probably attract more people into anime, like Pokemon, Yugioh and DBZ did, but i think that its a great show and they are going to make so much shit out of it, that im going to get sick of it.

Why am i worse than the DBZ kids who think they know anime? Because i dont buy DVD's? Meh, they are too expensive (between $15-$30), and they only have about 4 or 5 episodes per Dvd (not the bootlegs).got2maskit wrote:You're worse than the DBZ kids who think they know anime, buy the DVDs when they come out.
card game's, action figures, and a bunch of other productsgot2maskit wrote:And by "shit", do you mean showing it a couple thousand times, or a dreaded naruto card game?
i know that, but im using them as examplesgot2maskit wrote:And I'm not sure if you can blame CN for Pokemon and YuGiOh, WB is the main channel that shows them.

most of the card games, action figures, and other products were available in Japan way before they became available here in the US. So you cann't even blame the US companies for them. They were only brought to the US because of the popularity of the shows in question.GMM2005 wrote:card game's, action figures, and a bunch of other productsgot2maskit wrote:And by "shit", do you mean showing it a couple thousand times, or a dreaded naruto card game?

Let me try to reply in order (while attempt to stay on topic)
1st: There are many places to get anime cheaper from try pre-ordering from Suncoast to get the discount, hope it comes to a walmart near you, go to Best Buy. after all of that, go to any random suncoast, pic up FLCL, and thank god that not every anime is $30 for two episodes (even if it does have an assload of extras). other options is find other people with who like anime, or a club, and have viewings. Everyone can help buy the anime.
2nd: The merchandise isn't from Cartoon network, even if it has the "as seen on CN" logo on it, it's made by Wizards, Bandai, etc..
3rd: As long as you know that.

Yeah, and they'll probably edit out the good scenes, like when Naruto turned into the topless chick. Than the nosebleed hurricane . Gawd cartoonnetwork sucks. I can't wait until the FUNimaton channel airs. Then, it'll be nothing but uncut goodness .
Be non-conformist! (Everyone's doing it!)
I guess Max Payne isn't much of a yaoi fan...
