Hmmm. Naruto sure is taking long. Wasn't episode 122 just a waste of time... There are soo many like this, ain't it the truth.

Yeah, sometimes shows get stale after the next few hundred episodes. But then there's that awful painful feeling when a show you've been watching for hundereds of episodes finally ends . Who knows? Maybe Naruto will have a rebound... that is if it survives Toonami (shudder). Hopefully the FUNimation channel will save it when it airs.

I disagree. I think Naruto has more depth then DBZ, and the fighting is less useless

However - in the first 'season' with Zabuza this was more the case then the later episodes

And i think the questions asked in the different episodes keep you from stop watching... I really want to know what will happen to orochimaru etc...

i like naruto. but before i loved it, its just taking too much time for it to get on with the whats going on. when the chuunin exam started i could feel naruto changing, for the worst? i dont know, i knew it was changing tho.

In all reality all that has happened in the past was to build up to what is happening now in the manga. I do feel that the anime is lagging but most long anime do. The filler arc with the running ninja which never existed in the manga is proof of stretching it out. But in all reality if the tv series went too fast it would catch up to the manga which would be bad. That would only mean worse fillers.

Pleh, Naruto has been awesomeness throughout for me. I don't know whats going on in it though from the last 5 eps since I haven't seen them yet. I dunno maybe it's going down hill now.

Having never seen Naruto in any form but AMVs I'd have to agree with you. The fighting is very flashy and unrealistic, but it seems to be drawn well. It might be the same epileptic fighting in DBZ, but people never show it, so I can't speak my opinion solely on that. However, when you read the plot it sounds exactly like DBZ.

"A group of people set out on an adventure to be the STRONGEST WTFOMGLOL!!!!"

The only difference:
Naruto: "HAY GUYS, I HAVE A SPIRIT IN ME????"

DBZ: "HAY GUYS, I'M AN ALIEN!!!!!1"

One thing that DBZ has that Naruto may or may not is INFINITE LIVES! Can't forget the Dragonballs.

You could also compare the fanfare and mass amounts of bad amvs done to each. Don't attack me for bitching, the quantity is greater than some others, so shut up. The fans are everywhere, and with fans come fanbois and fangurls. The crazy "THIS IS THE ONLY SHOW" people are abundant with both shows, and the amvs with downloaded footage and bad encodes run rampant on filesharing programs and this server.

I'm just worried I'll end up liking Naruto, because I already like DBZ and might have the urge to buy them both one day.
