Suggestion for an AMV

I don't have (I think) the software to make an AMV, so I can only suggest ideas. I'm suggesting that someone make an AMV with country music or classic rock (Kansas, Pink Floyd, Hootie and the Blowfish, etc.). I have noticed that the majority of the music isn't country music or classic rock. Now, I'm not saying that I don't like the music that everyone is using, and in fact, I like some of the songs used, it's just that it seems to me that people are negating country and classic rock music. It would be neat (in my opinion) if someone had an AMV with the song "Jukebox Hero".

What does everyone think of this suggestion?

I'm rather more into classic stuff myself. I don't know what I would put to the likes of "Jukebox Hero" though. It's not as if no one is making stuff from classic rock and country, it's just that most of it is getting buried in a mighty flood of contemporary music.

If you can play these videos on your computer, chances are you can make them too. I use nothing but VirtualDub to make mine, though my necessarily simple methods might strain the patience of some of these heavy-on-the-special-effects people around here.

yea classic rock is a bit of an underrepresented genre...tho i must admit it is kinda hard to think of footage that would fit most of the songs....

ive actually made a love hina vid to "you shook me all night long" by ac/dc...but it kinda degenerated into a 4min long punch-fest....but i really like the song so maybe ill try and rework it so its good enough to post.

hmm jukebox hero eh...it is a cool song...hmm, something with guitars...FLCL maybe?

You can get a free version of Windows Movie Maker off of Microfots site... you can search google for Windos Movie Maker. Mine came with my computer so.. im not sure, Try it so you can make your own and use your own brilliant ideas!
