The first anime i had ever seen was Tekkaman Blade. But i got into anime after i saw Trigun 4 years ago, then it all began.
The first manga i bought was that of Trigun.
I did watch some other stuff, like Guyver, Akira, Urotzakidoji and DragonballZ, but Trigun for some reason got me really into anime, and after that it's pretty much the usual story.

As far as I can remember the first ones I saw were Sailor Moon, DBZ, and Voltron. Afterwards I saw Speed Racer, G-Force, Vampire Hunter D, Goku: Midnight Eye, Wicked City, and Pokemon (when it first came out; now it needs to end).
I was pretty much hooked while watching DBZ
