Hey, don't knock the basement lair! We both know basement lairs are where all the cool stuff happens! (B113, for example)

Best basement lair EVAR!!! I also live in my basement, so I have a basement lair, but B113 is the best one of all!

I got 13 of them, and I'm actually a little shocked as well, lol

Coming from somebody with an acknowledged addictive personality, addictions aren't something you really want to pick up -- though anime is among the more harmless, with its effect being much more financial than physiomental.

Even so, you don't want to spend all your time obsessing over anime stuffs. If you do, what do you do to make rent, and how do you interact with the people who paid out for the other 99% of the North American video market (as much as anime has grown, it's still fairly niche; these are 2004 figures)?

Though i have 18 of the things on the list, i still have lots of friends and i work. I skateboard and party all the time. Anime is still one of my biggest hobbies, but i do it more or less in my free time. Like late at nights, or days i don't have school. Plus you can read manga anywhere pretty much, except at parties. If they saw me reading a manga at a party i swear i would get ragged on for weeks, though most my friends already know about my hobby.

I am no where near as addicted to anime as i am to smoking though ( i seriously need to stop). :(

i have twelve.
i change the one for anime background to computer wallpaper.
but i think it still counts.

i want to add some symtoms, see if you have these.

you post on forums about anime

you have a collection of anime characters pics

you think you have real feelings for anime characters

you treat each anime character as if they were real

when your away from anime, all you think aboout is anime

you named yourself after an anime character.

you can't wait to watch a new anime

your learning japanese to watch anime so you can watch the raw version

you do the above reason, so you dont have to wait for it to get subbed

you repeated the japanese words in a anime and mix it in with your english sentence.

you wanted to learn japanese after watching anime

you want to be a anime character

you want to meet a anime character

you wish you can live in a anime world

you want to watch every anime in the world

you want a channel that has new anime shows and episodes 24/7

you think anime is a compleatly different genre from cartoons

you get pissed when people call anime, cartoons.

you actually have more then 15 of these symtoms, including the list the other person made.

you live for anime

you cant imagine yourself without anime

you want to make a list like this one.

:) =^.^=
