D.N. Angel - Volume 2 DVD
All four of these episodes are practically fillers, but they're damn entertaining. Obviously since this is a shoujo series, the concept of love gets thrown around in these episodes. And let's not forget the beautiful background animation that's been implored in these episodes.

Watched the series Last Exile. This is a great anime by Gonzo. The animation is rich and detailed, the story is engrossing,. There is good character development and plenty of mystery and adventure. A pair of young vanship pilots take on a mission from a dying pilot, to deliver a little girl Alvis to the enigmatic captain of the legendary ship the Silvana. When he leaves them behind they decide they have to find out his plans for Alvis. They are caught up in a battle between the human forces and the powerful guild to posess Exile. What is Exile, a super weapon, a gateway to paradise? What has it to do with Alvis, what power over it does she posess? Will navagator Lavie lose her pilot Claus to the Silvana's vanship fighter commander, and along with him her heart? So many stories, so well written, and animated.
Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

Almost finished with .hack//INFECTION, and will soon be ready to tackle .hack//MUTATION again. (I'm not quite sure if I want to get all eight of the Ryu Books before finishing the first part of the story this time...)
I also just picked up Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. It starts out slow, but really picks up in the middle. A must-watch movie.
I also might get another new anime DVD this weekend. Don't know what, though.

A woman recommended it to me, but I never had a chance to see it yet.angelx03 wrote:I have finished watching ALL of Fruits Basket. This is one of the best $66 I spent on a boxset. Man, those last three episodes were definetely a shocker.
Once I get through collecting my latest anime series (I have 4 new anime series coming out that I'm buying individual DVDs for now), I might choose to start collecting Fruits Basket and Chobits as well.

That, .hack//MUTATION, and Evangelion Platinum Volume 6 (which I found out has both the original cut and director's cut of episodes 21-23 -- six episodes total) will probably set me up for the next two weeks or so.
