They where excactly the same though...excapt the manga was longer (and probably has a better anime)turboneko wrote:This anime rulez!!
But the manga is better
Prince Tidus, how do you know if you've never read the manga?
I'm never gtoing to see Fruits Basket dubbed! Expecialy when it's made by the same company that liscened DBZ!VegettoEX wrote:We watched the first episode of the show in our anime club last semester. It was just the right amount of wacky, and I enjoyed it.
Yeah, I'll be waiting for the FUNimation release to continue watching the series. Any series is that much better when Steve Simmons is doing the subtitle translations .
Eh, that's not quite fair. The dub of "Blue Gender" is pretty darn close to the original script, "Yu Yu Hakusho" is well done, and from what I hear, the dub of "Lupin" is even getting some praise.Princess Garnet wrote:VegettoEX wrote:I'm never gtoing to see Fruits Basket dubbed! Oh but the manga is very different! The cut a huge amount when they made the conversion to anime. The manga is ongoing so the ending (I won't spoil it) is completely made up and has no relation to where the manga is going. The completely removed an important storyline about an incident in Tooru's childhood with a boy and a red cap. (Which makes episodes 15 and 16 make a lot more sense, its the reason that Yuki and Kyou get all silent and weird) They also removed Shigure's creepy evil side and some of his darker actions.Princess Garnet wrote:They where excactly the same though...excapt the manga was longer (and probably has a better anime)turboneko wrote:This anime rulez!!
