Anime Series playing at a theatre near you!
Okay, if you could put any anime series into the movie theatres, remember it has to be a series not a movie, which would it be, and how would you go about doing it?
For me I would try to have the theatre's play Neon Genesis Evangelion and Berserk, which are my top two favorite series of all time. The way I would go about it is to have a dvd of the series being played once a month until the entrie series is shown.
So, which would you show, and how?

Right when I read this, the first anime that poped into my head was Berserk. How sweat it would be to see that with booming sound and a big screen
. Other series, EVA, GITS:SAC(intro would be amazing at a theater), BoogiePop Phantom, Haibane-Renmei, Last Exile, Initial D, and there is more. Those are the main ones but truthfully I would like to see all my anime at a movie theater.
Though they arn't series, some animes that I would like to see at a movie theater, would be, Akira, Escaflowne:The Movie, SamuraiX, The End of EVA, and Ninja Scroll.
I guess I can always dream.

I would probably imagine R.O.D. The TV up on the big screen.
One of the biggest selling points of seeing R.O.D. The TV are the cliffhanger endings they put into every episode. You would certainly get people packing the theater again and again, just to see what's coming up next.
(On that note, I can't wait for DVD Volume 6 after how they ended Episode 20 (Hello Sorrow). That has to be the best cliffhanger ever.

That certainly would be awsome. I wonder what the audiences recation to the last episode would be though, for those who have never seen it and for those evil soccer moms.Matticans wrote:Right when I read this, the first anime that poped into my head was Berserk. There are only so many anime series that have the sweeping cinematic quality that would even allow them to work on the big screen. The ones that have that quality are usually on their way to the movie houses with a movie of their own, but as for the series themselves, I would pick:
Wolf's Rain - It has a sweeping score, stunning visuals that would translate to the big screen. And most important, it has a compeling storyline. It would look amazing.
Cowboy Bebop - We've all seen the movie, but the series was just as good. Can't wait to see the remasters.

I would love to see Last Exile, Sentou Yousei Yukikaze, or Elfen Lied in theaters. Last Exile is just plain beautiful. Sentou Yousei Yukikaze just has some of the most unbelieveble aerial combat scenes I have ever seen. As for Elfen Lied, one of my favorites and it would look majestic in my opinion.
But for now, I'll settle using my Sony 5.1 system, and my newest aquisition. The 50" Sony Grand WEGA LCD DLP.
