And I just bought the Eva "Perfect Collection". -___- That's amazing. I had no idea there was such a quality difference. If I'd of known that, I'd of just waited.
Oh BTW, do any of the Platinum DVDs include a clean opening/closing?

What's the exact assignment of episodes to both the normal editions and Platinum editions? I have Volume One of the normal edition, but switching over to the Platinum edition is complicated due to the fact that the episodes are distributed in a different way. (Regular Vol. 1: Episodes 1-4; Platinum Vol 1: Episodes 1-5) I'm not about to buy Platinum starting at Volume One; instead my plan is to buy the non-Platinum DVDs, then the Platinum DVDs in such a manner that there is no overlap or deficiency in episodes. (i.e. if I started buying the Platinum DVDs right now at vol. 2, I would be missing Episode 5 of the series.) In other words, I want to get the original DVDs up to a certain point, then the Platinum DVDs, but the question I'm asking is, which volume of the Platinum series should I start with?
