What anime was reject by your country??

Revolutionary Girl Utena i guess was rejected here in australia

Not sure about an australian release but it definetly wasnt banned. I remember seeing the movie in EB.

The only anime which I know is banned in australia is violence jack. After reading a review of it, I'm glad the cencors did something right for once.

Um you can't ban something from this country unless its child porn or something and that would not apply to animation. The Fcc could say you can't show that on tv until a certain time of night etc but they couldnt stop someone from selling it.

The FCC doesnt exactly hold much power in Australia

that true but they had the power to ban a xbox game called lesuire suit larry mana cum laude here in australia i had to order thru ebay to get it beside Revolutionary Girl Utena the movie is in aussie land but not the series so they must of ban it.

I find your Australian typing both new and confusing to me.

And about the game, everyone I know who has played it, didn't like it, so unless you have the maturity of a six-year-old, you aren't missing much.

It's not banned. I've talked to several people from Australia who own the series and are very big fans of it. You should not confuse poor distribution with banning. Central Park Media is the group that puts it out here in the States. I don't know how far their reach is in the ANZAC.

And I now know how how to read these messages. It didn't sound like Aussie talk and that caused me plenty of headaches. But when I read it and picture Ali G saying it, it makes sense and sounds natural.
