Princess Maker 4
I - ah - am not really sure if japanese games can be discussed here but i just found a picture of Princess Maker 4 - me being a fan of the series is really interested so i hope you guys can get me more information and all...
For anyone who doesnt know the Princess Maker series (shame on you ) it's a series of (older) games in wich you raise a girl (by sending her to work and to school) It had multiple endings and 'plot twists' and was pretty unique. The games were from Gainax, and only Princess Maker 2 has been translated to english.
Oh yeah, the pic:

I've seen the English PC Beta of Princess Maker 2 that's been floating around the net, and I found it to be a great game.
Another piece of information: the entire Princess Maker series was created by GAINAX, the same minds behind Evangelion and FLCL.
You can find more information on Princess Maker 4 on the publisher's site (Japanese Only):

The game is available, but per GAINAX's and the publisher's request, this game (and all the others except for the English Beta of PM2) will not be available in English -- apparently ever.

I remember playing Princess Maker 2 a long time ago, but I didn't really get into it. From what I remember I thought it was some sort of Hentai game, and that cover only makes me think of it more in that sence. So, to see it for PS2 sort of confuses me. I thought only hentai games came out on the computer, and I also thought they where illegeal here in the US.

Just to clarify, Princess Maker is not hentai. It's a "child-rearing simulation",Evangelion Unit 01 wrote:I thought only hentai games came out on the computer, and I also thought they where illegeal here in the US.
Actually, the majority of releases for PCs in Japan, just like their console releases, are not hentai, ecchi, or H. Many of them are based off common anime, like Mobile Suit Gundam and Initial D.
