Why did it have to end???? [FMA]

Post by paintedtear » Sat Mar 26, 2005 1:26 pm

Why did FMA have to end?????????? I will admit the ending is an amazing touch! i just wish there was more to it. :(
Why did the animator have to stop? did he/she get bored with the idea? is there ever a reason for it?

one more thing: whose the best character out of ALL the series? be honest and say why.

You do know there is going to be a movie as well don't you?

My favorite character is Gluttony, and lay of the favorite character bit, those types of threads get locked, so downplay that part.

Wait.. If you liked the ending, then what's the problem?

Sufficiency is better than excess. I mean, don't you just HATE shows that started out great, but then the creators milked them dry? There have been cases like that, unfortunately, and keeping a show on for too long is an excellent way to totally spoil a great idea.

Besides, I think FMA isn't a short series, either....
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

"It's better to burn out than fade away"
-Kurt Cobain

It's better for a series to have a definitive ending. That was they won't hit some sour spot or dry run where the series does definitavely suck except to maybe one or two fans who have completely lost it.

that and the story had that plot thing. it was suppose to have an ending. so it has an ending.

[offtopic] hell this is why i have such a problem with Inuyasha. that series SHOULD have ended a long time ago. but since it hasn't, i would say it's hit dry and predictable points. you just get pissed and wonder why the bad guy is always there, almost always pulling the same trick in essence, and always getting away with it in some way. there are points where there is no definative plot development with the original characters, but instead try to start new characters with new stories, not taking it in new directions, but just kind of a distraction from the fact that they're out of ideas but don't want to give up on the money. ahhh company sellouts!!! AHHHH [pill intake] [/offtopic] [/pill intake] [/sanity] [/consciousness]

thanks and you're right to point that out, malificus.
I do love the ending and I'm not sayin that the series was short either. It was beautifully laid out. lol. i just hate that i get so involved with the characters bc their so well developed.

i will admit that it never ran dry. all the ideas were fresh and I didn't expect or see anything coming. I'm glad that it did end so that it wasn't crap. Shows on tv now are like that. THey start out great and then they just lose their motion. I agree with inuyasha. i loved that one too but then it was just like a rerun. you could tell what was coming.

I thought the movie had already been released in japan? when will it be released here in america? And will it be dubbed? PLEASE SAY NO!!! I can't stand the actors that have no emotion.

More a serie is short, more we appreciate it....
I just HATE when a serie turn in round and have a tons of "no-need" episodes.
I'm sorry for always bashing Inuyasha(it is always the exemple I have X-D I am actualy really enjoy this anime) It is so long we're lost in episodes.
Chrno Crusade,Saiyuki and Full Metal Alchemist is one of my favorite animes and they doesn't pass the 100 episodes....So that's perfect^^
Don't complain for that! Enjoy watch it over and over again! Trust me 8-)

don't be, it's fun, it's easy, and it's great when any hardcore inuyasha fans go nuts on you for explaining why the show isn't as good as they think
