If the WMA isn't protected, dBPowerAMP can convert it to Wave. The just use a typical MP3 encoder. Older versions of dBPowerAMP had MP3 encoding built-in in the free part of the software, but that function now is only available for a trial period.

Make sure you have the WMA plugin for dBPowerAMP, otherwise it won't work.

iTunes converts audio into aac, m4p, or something like that.
