DVD Ripping Question

Post by -MajinLink- » Thu Mar 31, 2005 1:39 pm

Hi, the DVD I have it set up like this.

Side #1 --
Play All
Episodes
Kenny's Big Battle
Picking up the Pieces
Sleepless in Madrid
Languages
English
Japanese
Subtitles: On
Subtitles: Off
Extras
Profiles
Raul
Julia
Mariah
Trailers

When I rip it using the DVD Decrypter program I get everything that is on the DVD except of the Japanese Subtitles, I get the episodes IN japanese though but no subs. Is it not possiable to get them? or am I doing something wrong?

Also, I can't seem to get audio on my avs script when I play it in Windows Media. Here is my script.

mpeg2source("C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\beyblademovie.d2v", idct=5)
Telecide(order=1, guide=1, post=4)
Decimate(quality=3)

Why do you want subs? You can get the English audio by selecting "Track Number," then choosing "Track 1." In some cases(Like Cowboy Bebop), you need to select "Track 2." This is assuming that you are using DVD2AVI to get the video/audio. I'm not sure if it's possible to get the subtitles. I once used SmartRipper before and it had sometihng about how to get subtitles. =/

I don't think you get audio with avs files since the video and audio files are seperate.
