Find a community college nearby and take courses.Gogetasan85 wrote:Im still in High School.a crappy one mind you.
No matter how hard you try (or claim you'll try), you will not learn Japanese by yourself. Sure, you can advance your studies in conjunction with a class (someone in my class jumped straight from Beginner I to Intermediate I because he studied outside class), but this language is near impossible to learn without the guidance and structure of a classroom.
And even then, it's a stretch. If you can shell out the money, there are language schools in Japan (mostly geared towards businessmen) that will make you fluent (as in, literally, being able to pass the fluency test required for citizenship and to start businesses) in 12 months. 3 months of these places is about equal to 3 years worth of Japanese at an American university.

I used to get books from the library, they may have audio tapes for loan, also. Other than that, try doing a general search on Japanese language lessons. I used to visit http://physics.uwyo.edu/~brent/jal/jal-home.htm
but sometimes if I'm stuck on a phrase I'll just search on the word and add "translation" and see what results I get.
