Windows Movie Maker not Playing Songs Downloaded on Limewire

Basically my Windows Movie Maker will play every song i burned from a CD but wont play any music i get from Limewire. When I put the Song into my collections it will play but when I try and put it in the Audio/Music Timeline it Says it has performed a illegal operation and needs to shut down. It doesnt even give me a chance to press play. Is this a Limewire or Movie Maker Problem? Is their any way i can fix it?
