I prereged and got my confirmation back within a week and a half or so. They responded pretty quick for me.

As for the AMV dinner, I still working things out, I should be ready to go as of this weekend for a complete list of those who will be in attendence.

The long and the short of it is that I've come up short on how much people were paying for dinner by at least a hundred dollars that a number of us had to try and compensate for. One time people were leaving or showing up without paying and last year, mostly due to reg hell, a lot of people didn't show up and we still had to pay a cover fee for the restaurant anyway.

This has been baffeling me since we didn't have any problems the first year I did this at the Rock Bottom in Long Beach.

I plan on going to Anime Expo, as always. This would be #8 for me.

Idea on dinner if there are problems coming up short: How about Hometown Buffet? I know it's not as classy as other places, but that way everyone pays the same price to get in. We can all eat as much as we want. Or some other buffet type place.

The problem with Hometown Buffet is that there is an extremely long line everytime I visit one, so that means there's going to be a very long waiting time to get a seat, especially if there is a large group.

I know members of Cosplay.com's forum are debating whether to go to Denny's or Hooter's for a cosplay dinner gathering, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say that no one here likes Denny's.

Well, there's always the idea of a potluck if there is a nearby park or something.

In anaheim there isn't really a nearby park, we'd have to go well out of our way and if you don't know where you're going in that city it becomes very easy to get lost. What I'm looking into is Roundtable pizza since there is one nearby and I'm relatively certain that they can accomodate for decently sized parties.
