What REALLY got me curious is this piece of information:

Q: Has the English voice cast been set yet?
Mr. Ishikawa: I believe the Cartoon Network team and Bandai Entertainment have received confirmation from Haley Joel Osment from the Sixth Sense, Michelle Rodriguez from Biohazard [note: Resident Evil outside of Japan] and The Fast and the Furious, Tom Kenny the voice of Sponge Bob, Joseph Hahn from Linkin Park, and an invitation has also been sent to Quentin to lend his voice.

My interest in this series has definetely peaked. I mean, how the hell did they get these people?!

My only concerns with IGPX are:

- As I have mentioned on another forum, the description of this series reminds me a lot of the Heavy Gear Animated Series that aired a few years ago. Does anyone know if this is going to be more or less the same?

- High-priced talent does not always equal great anime / cartoon series.

You can only hope that BANDAI isn't shooting themselves in the foot spending mucho dinero on a series that might potentially fizzle.

Interesting set of voices, but I do worry about the storyline.
Giant Robot + Rookie Team + Big Sport = Heavy Gear, Zoids, others whose names escape me right now.
I may be wrong and they will put a nice twist on it but right now, I'm getting a bad but excited feeling. I'm getting this same feeling with the Eva movie . . .being done by WETA .

Hm... While it seems like they're just putting those short five minute thingies into a full Anime isn't really interesting, I just want to see it merely to hear those voices.

I mean, it's not everday that you have the guy who did Spongebob with the chick from RE putting their voices into an Anime. I'd check it out just to hear 'em. ^.^

Since Lance Bass did voice acting in Kingdom Hearts.... I mean, if a boy band can do a decient Sephiroth, then why not a rockin' DJ? ^^;
