Premier buyer
I'm getting paid tomorrow and I'm going to buy some premier. (was thinking pro) But I just wanted to know which one is better, eaiser, and newer. So out of all the Premiers (5x, 6x, Pro, etc.) which one is newer, better, or easier.
I don't want to keep using WMM, so please help me with at least a simple answer instead of just giving me the list of all the MM programs out there.

I've been gone for around 2 years and will be making a come back.

Re: Premier buyer
I can definitely say Premiere Pro is newer.

Premiere Pro is the newest. IMO, it's also the best; I especially like the to-the-pixel accuracy on effects (anyone remember the old Motion settings window in 5.1?) and the ability to put video transitions on any video track, not just Track 1.
However, 6 and 5.1 are much cheaper (if you can find them).

Yes and yes. In order, there is Pro and Pro 1.5. By all reports, 1.5 is better. Yes, there are student discounts, which you will probably have to go through your university to get.Fanime2K wrote:Looks like i might be going with Pro
Two more questions
1. Are there different versions of Pro?
2. Are there any student discounts or anything for it you people always mention?
