To End Furuba or not to End...
Wow, so my newest fixation is Fruits Basket, and I love all the characters and it's such a happy silly romantic show, it's awesome. My only problem or should i say worry is if I should watch the end. I know it sounds stupid but i've heard a bit here and there of the end and I personally am a KyoXTohru fan and I'm worried that just like most anime i've seen they'll separate and you can only hope they see eachother again.
Please, without completely spoiling it can someone cheer me up? Lol i'm worried to watch it and feel like something's missing. I've heard stuff about how Kyo's gonna be locked up cause of his curse or Tohru and Yuki kiss or Tohru loves Yuki and she leaves and never sees them again... I don't know what to believe... I know this is silly but thanks for any ideas or support you guys have for what makes you feel good at the end...(that i havent seen so don't spoil it).

p.s. no flames please.

You don't need to worry about that . I thought that overall the show ended pretty well.ashiteruSweetSurrender wrote: I'm worried that just like most anime i've seen they'll separate and you can only hope they see eachother again.

The show follows roughly the first half of the manga, so it doesn't really "end" per se. . . You don't need to worry.
And none of those things you mentioned happen in the anime. There is no kissing, no locking up, and no leaving. The anime is quite open-ended, in fact, because it's meant to be part of a continuing story (like I said, it's nearly identical to the first HALF of the manga).

Not really, though according to this report FUNimation did start a "movement" to get the producers to make a second season.

OHM, a Van icon! *hugs and glompst tightly* I wuv youooouuuu.
Anyway, I hear the ending is alrighty, a bit sped up, but okay other than that. And I hope they do a second season!! Like, if they start an anime, then catch up the manga, they should then at least wait 'til the rest of the manga comes out, then do s'more anime!

I'd say watch the ending for the strong character development. You see them like you wouldn't have in the previous episodes. It makes them more complete. Yay for Funi attempting to get a second season made. They could pull it off like CN did for Big O 2. Still from what I read and heard...significant changes will have to be made.
