Isn't that the answer to life the universe and everything?
I seem to remember it being "6*9=42".

Anyway. It seems we have someone else to target for age in addition to Vlad.

Thank you, I was just about to say that myself.

If you're ashamed of your hobbies, find new hobbies.

AMV making is incredibly dorky, IMO, dorkier than mere anime watching, and on par with cosplay - no matter how much cooler AMV editors think they are. ;P However, if it's fun for you, you just have to have the self-confidence not to care about what other people think of your hobbies.

I'm nearly 30, dorky as all hell, and having quite a good time. I didn't even get into anime until after college. I really don't care.

Some people do want to fit in so badly that they'll ditch things they love in order to be approved by others. I feel sorry for them. But if it bothers you that much, go... play football or have unprotected sex or whatever it is that mainstream kids do these days. Ya whippersnappers.

Of course, that could just be me.
also, sorry to double-post, but THIS POST IS ABSOLUTELY GOLDEN and I had to quote it / repeat it / put it on a plaque on my wall. Thank you. (OK, even without the corporate part, seriously guys, that stuff just ceases to be important after a while.)

Exactly. Dorkdom isn't a *bad* thing.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

The Best thing that ever happened to me! (I'd like to thank everyone at GRHS for not accepting me and helping me to become the blissfully happy dork I am now. I'd also like to thank Army MI for helping me find other cool dorks, and Immorrel for helping me find the cool dorks here and realize another kick-ass hobby to help mold me into the super dork I am today! Thank you!)

Ditto. Two years ago I watched FLCL on
AdultSwim and I was hooked.

We all have our little idiosyncratic quirks;
it is what makes life worth living. What is
the point to life if you are going to follow
some predefined path that is considered
"normal". Geez, people, "normal" is defined
by television and pop culture; hardly experta
on the matter.

The point is: everyone is a dork in some way,
shape, or form.

Embrace your inner-dork.

Ahh! The ultimate answer! so THIS is the ultimate question!
The ultimate question is "what is 4 *6?"

Actually technically wouldn't making AMVs in the first place be dorky?
ummm 4*6= 24
6*7= 42
Typo :?
